Yinka Ogundare is originally from Nigeria and has lived in the United States for over 25 years now. His educational Journey started in the sciences where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. This was followed by a master’s degree in animal production and management. Upon moving to the United States, Yinka changed fields and decided to pursue a master’s degree in International telecommunication and Management from George Mason University. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Grand Canyon University, working on the motivation of the US- Nigeria Diaspora to invest in vocational education. His career focus has included working for a private college where he focused on recruiting and establishing relationships with organizations focused on internationally trained candidates and professionals. Prior to that, He was with American Express where He managed the Card Operations and was also in the telecommunications industry for about 9 years where he did everything from Sales operations to Relationship Management as well as product and process management. Some of Yinka’s other interests includes investing in real estate and alternative energy products. He has also had the pleasure of working with professionals from different countries and diverse backgrounds.
